He spent six months behind bars after a being convicted in 2001. But, today, he says, "That's something in the past. It's taken a long time to get rid of. It will never go away. Basically I failed to report a crime committed against me." Today, Robert Steve Vukelic is running for a seat on the Jefferson County(OH) Commission. As a result, he is seeking a pardon from President Bush that will allow him to hold the office. See story here.
