Perhaps it was only a matter of time before a story like this one popped up ... In April of 2004, Arkansas Governor (and current Republican presidential candidate) Mike Huckabee commuted the six-year prison sentence of one Eugene Fields, who had piled up four DWI offenses. In order to help us "decide," FOX news reports that Mr. Fields (now 69-years old) recently pled guilty to his second drunken driving charge since being released. Yes, it's draw your own conclusions time! See complete story here. Meanwhile, interested readers might enjoy my own - slightly more impressive - list of notable repeat offenders (here and here) and "Stink Bomb Pardons."
