The Washington Post's Al Kamen is giving some attention where little attention is usually given: to the U.S. Pardon Attorney. Kamen suggests the recent appointment of Ronald L. Rodgers to the position (see PardonPower post here) is "possible good news" for convicted felons. Kamen also describes the Office of the Pardon Attorney as a "much criticized" and a "creaky" program.
