The Associated Press reports that the State Parole Board has voted 3-2 to recommend clemency for 52-year old Fred Roosevelt Dandridge, who is serving a 182-year sentence for kidnapping and raping a high school student at gun point in 1985. Dandridge was also accused of returning to the school a second time, with another man, and assisting him in a second kidnapping and assault on the student. Clemency would amount to making Dandridge eligible for parole. While he claims that he is an innocent man, a county prosecutor is said to "vigorously" oppose clemency. See story here and here.
