Arkansas: 12 Pardons

It is reported that Governor Mike Beebe has announced his intent to grant 12 pardons. Beebe also denied 13 clemency requests. Each of the 12 applicants has completed all jail time, fulfilled all parole-and-probationary requirements and paid all related fines. In two instances, prosecuting attorneys objected to the applications. Among the offenses pardoned are: theft of property, battery, forgery, fraudulent use of credit card, possession of cocaine,
delivery of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver,
breaking and entering, possessing instruments of crime and attempted battery. See story here.
