Florida: Full Pardon

Virgil McCranie fell in love with his wife, Misty, when was he was 19 years old. The problem was that she was only 14. McCranie was initially accused of rape, but eventually charged with "lewd and lascivious acts against a minor." After serving two years of probation, he was placed on the state’s sex offender web site and has had persistent problems holding down a job ever since. Punch line is that Virgil and Misty have now been married for more than a decade and have four children. Because of his record, however, he was not able to attend his own daughter’s dance recitals! Florida's Board of Executive Clemency granted a full pardon this week! Good luck Virgil and Misty! See story here.

WONDERFUL!!! Yes we all want sex offenders behind bars BUT do people, lawyers, D.O.C personel, amd Judges have any idea how many men are in jail/prison for this same thing... I got married at 15 and had 2 kids by 18. My husband was 19 when we got married and we have been married for 31 years. So NO he didnt rape me nor is he nor will he ever be considered to be this!
