It is reported that Gov. Mike Beebe plans to pardon seven people who were convicted of "drug, trespass or battery charges." Per usual, "all seven people have paid their fines and completed jail time and parole; probationary requirements." It is also reported that Beebe has rejected 26 additional clemency requests. The public has 30 days to comment on the governor's pardon plans before they become official. See story here.
