Delaware: Pardoned Mayoral Candidate

Delaware Online reports The Rev. Derrick "Pastor D" Johnson's candidacy for mayor has been rejected by the state's Department of Justice because criminal convictions prevent him from holding office under the Delaware Constitution. Johnson was actually fully and unconditionally pardoned for his nine felonies (including a fatal shooting and a bank robbery) by Gov. Jack Markell way back in 2009. See story here.
