Governor Mike Beebe has announced that he will grant 9 pardons. It is also announced that he has denied 24 clemency requests. Per usual, the 9 pardon applicants have "completed all jail time, fulfilled all parole-and-probationary requirements and paid all fines related to their sentences." Among the offenses addressed are: Residential Burglary, Theft of Property, Burglary, Grand Larceny, Possession of an Instrument of Crime, Delivery of Marijuana, Delivery of LSD, Theft by Receiving, Battery, Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. In each instance, there have been no further violations of law and none of the applications are objected to by law enforcement.
