A recent report by the Commonwealth of Virginia on "pardons, commutations of sentence, reprieves and other forms of clemency" announces that Governor Robert F. McDonnell has pardoned an individual for stealing leftover broccoli from a grocery store and granted three conditional pardons for broccoli theft, aggravated sexual battery and shoplifting.
