The Associated Press reports that the State's Parole Board has recommended commutation of sentences for two "convicted killers" who are serving life sentences. One is said to be in his 70s and heading toward his 50th year in prison. He killed a liquor store owner "over a $14.80 cent discrepancy in a paycheck." The second man is reported to have killed another individual "during an argument over illegal drugs." See story here.
