Abu Dhabi President: 442 Commutations in One Day

President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the release of 442 prisoners on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. The Pardons though are dishonest Pardons which are done not in accordance of Islamic beliefs and teachings. In Islam a pardon is only considered a good deed by Allah when the victims forgive the criminal or crook and the debts of the victim are paid off. During each pardon the President announces that he will settle the debts of the local crooks and pay off the victims. Abu Dhabi has an office called Abu Dhabi Dewan which is supposed to pay settle these debts upon local crooks and criminals being pardoned from prison. The reality though is that no one answers the phones at this office (Abu Dhabi Dewan) nor do they pay off the debts in full and advance as mentioned in the Presidential Pardon leaving the victims of financial fraud scheme out in the cold. Once these people are pardoned they can not be prosecuted again which means that once they are released the victims can no longer go after them for not being paid. The debt owed is now transferred over to the Dewan's Office and good luck trying to collect from the Dewan's Office. First of all no lawyer will be willing to file suit against the government in the UAE because if they do they risk losing their license and deportation. More on this at
